What data we process and why

The form may contain your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional) and the text of your message. This data is used to reply to your request, give information about treatments and, if requested, contact you about an appointment. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is not used to send promotional messages.

First name, last name, email and message are required by the form; the phone number is optional. Without the required data we cannot handle the request through the form. Please do not include special categories of data or unnecessary information in your message.

If a contractual relationship follows from the request, the data needed to manage it and to meet legal obligations may also be processed, under Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

How the form works

When you press “Send”, the form data is sent securely (HTTPS) to the website server and automatically forwarded as an email to info@beautybymarta.it. The website does not keep it in its own archive. The required checkbox confirms that you have read this notice; its value is not included in the email and is not consent to promotional messages.

Gift vouchers bought online

Anyone buying a gift voucher on the beautybymarta.it/buoni page provides their own data (name, email, optional phone) and that of the person receiving the voucher (first name, last name and phone). This data is used only to issue and send the voucher, manage its use and contact the recipient to book the appointment. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the recipient’s data, the legitimate interest in managing the gift (point f). The buyer undertakes to inform the person receiving the gift. Payment is made through PayPal, which processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice: the salon never sees or stores card details. Voucher data is kept for the voucher’s validity period and then for the periods required by tax and accounting obligations. It is not used for promotional messages.

How data is processed, recipients and retention

Once sent, the message is received at the salon’s email address. Data is processed electronically for as long as needed to reply to and manage the request; if a contractual relationship follows, records are kept for the periods required by the applicable obligations. The controller, any authorised persons involved and the technical providers needed to manage the email service may access the data, according to their roles and privacy notices.

External recipients and transfers

The website’s fonts and icons are hosted on our own server: when the page loads, the browser does not request resources from external services. Links to Google Maps and WhatsApp open those services only if you select them; from that moment their own privacy notices apply.

The website is hosted by Aruba S.p.A., acting as technical provider. Like any web server, it may record technical data about visits (for example IP address, date and time) for security and service operation purposes.

Cookies and local storage

The website does not use analytics, profiling or third-party cookies and does not make requests to external services when it loads: fonts and icons are hosted on our server. For this reason no cookie consent banner is needed.

Your rights

In the cases provided for by Articles 15–22 GDPR, you can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, or object to processing. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or apply to the courts.

Providing data and automated decisions

Providing data is optional; however, the fields marked as required are needed to receive a reply through the form. If they are not filled in, the request cannot be sent from the form. The phone number is optional. The website code contains no automated decision-making or profiling of visitors.
